Cute, nice tie-up at the end.

If there was any doubt in my mind that your Crossing the Bridge post flew right past me, this post took care of that. I like to be indirect, too, but I'm sometimes terrible at it from the reverse end.

I love the word "obtuse". I like Eddie's definition: purposely imperceptive. I realize it also means "lacking intelligence," but I've always felt it more accurately referred to a deliberate act of cluelessness (usually for the purpose of coyly obfuscating an issue).
I absolutely love your writing. Promise me you'll never stop.
MT...yeah, we're nothing if not "cute." :-)
Deliberate act of cluelessness...I like that. I've been known to coyly obfuscate on occasion, but only after a nip or two.
Ashley, I hereby so promise. It's a good thing you made me promise because I was just about to chuck this whole writing thing and become a stunt double for Bruce Willis. :-0
I once told a guy he was being obtuse and he asked me what I meant. I gave him the definition of obtuse in the context I had used it and he said, "How do you expect people to understand you if you keep using words they don't know?"

Both meanings of obtuse exhibited in a single conversation. It was brilliant.
I sensed that might be under consideration. Just dedicate your next book to me and we'll call it even :)
Sometimes people just make it way too easy.
Sorry, Ash, Kirk already paid me a handsome sum to dedicate the next book as an offering to his pseudo-deity. Maybe the NEXT, next one?

It's a deal...

cute. hehe.

i'm still waiting for eddie to start his own vox. hehe.
